Before owning my first pitbull I researched the internet to find out more. I was so intrigued by the breed and their negative reputation and I was determined to help show the world that pitbulls are good dogs. However, I did not want to be the over compassionate woman that adopts a pitbull and returns it a month later realizing that I took on more than I could handle.

So commonly, kind hearted people want to help this breed, but don’t have the time, patience or education to be a responsible Owner. On the other hand, many people shy away from adopting this breed because of the negative stories in the media. Together, these two scenarios only hurt the breed more and many great pitbulls are euthanized every day. Luckily, my husband and I now share our home with four Pitbulls. These dogs have become our best friends. Even though they take up a lot of our time and need to be managed to ensure they behave properly, we wouldn't change a thing about our lives.

This website provides information and recommendations for all medium and large dogs. I wanted to share my experiences, recommend high quality food, treats, toys and other accessories, and provide real life stories to help educate others. This site does not concentrate on the history or the temperament of these dogs, I am simply sharing my experiences and offering other fun information for other dog Owners.

Hopefully, even one person unfamiliar with pitbulls gains a better appreciation for the breed and then I will have fulfilled my goal! The love of a pitbull is something that no one should ever go through life without experiencing.
